Daniel Packard - Grand Rapids, Michigan

Dan Packard

I’m an attorney with 25 years of experience.  I have two main focuses in my practice, estate planning and nonprofits.  I work extensively with individuals and families to design estate plans which protect my client’s families, and to make sure that the people and causes which my clients care about will be taken care of.  I am also passionate about working with large and small nonprofits which have a mission to improve the community, helping them be more effective in their mission.  In addition to my office in Grand Rapids, I also work in Phoenix, Arizona.

My family moved to the Grand Rapids area shortly after I was born.  I love West Michigan and it will always be my home.  Grand Rapids residents take a lot of pride in their home town, with good reason!   Both of my parents stressed the importance of being involved in community leadership.  My Mother and Father served on many local nonprofit boards and they donated generously to charitable causes.  My Father was proud of being named Heart of West Michigan United Way Man of the Year in 1981 and being made a life member of their board.  My parents taught me the importance of being involved in community leadership and doing what I can to make a positive difference in the lives of people.  I love being able to make this kind of a difference in the community, and those values still guide my life and my practice of law.

Whether you come to me for estate planning help or for help with your nonprofit organization, I will give you the highest quality personal service and do it at a fair price with great value.  I’m focused on building lasting relationships with my clients, treating them the same way I’d treat my family, and I look forward to being your lawyer.
